In 2016 I obtained my bachelor degree of materials forming and processing engineering in Northwestern Polytechnical University(NPU) in China. Thanks to the cooperation between VUB and NPU, I got the opportinity to do the master of materials and chemical engineering at VUB in 2018 and was granted by the Master mind scholarship from the Flemish Ministry of Education and Training. During the master, I gradually gained interest in polymer materials and functional materials from the courses given by Prof Bruno Van Mele and Prof Guy Van Assche and decided to work on this for my PhD.
In Septerber 2018, I started doing a PhD at FYSC group with Prof Bruno Van Mele and Prof Niko Van den Brande. I am studying the novel materials used for solution-processed bulk heterojuction organic cavities for near infrared photodetections via advanced thermal analysis technologies.
