Jean Vereecken

Jean Vereecken was attached to the Electrochemical and Surface engineering research group (SURF) of VUB. Up to 2010 the VUB Architectural Engineering department made use of his expertise in material characterization and corrosion. The laboratories of SURF are equipped with apparatus (SEM, AES, XPS, etc.) to analyse the historic iron and steel structures..
