Two new researchers: welcome Judith and Liese!

Judith Cools is a PhD researcher at department architectural engineering. In her research she will be continuing on her master's thesis: "A circular turn in heritage. Spolia, a bridge between past and present in Brussels' and Flemish contemporary preservation practices".

Liese Van Holen is a PhD researcher at the department Architectural Engineering and the department Mechanics of Materials and Constructions In her Master's thesis she studied the logistic processes and actors involved in the historic reclamation of materials.

Following a rigorous selection procedure, Judith and Liese were chosen from among many candidates applying for a research mandate at VUB Architectural Engineering. We are pleased that they strengthen our research team and will also support our educational programs. VUB Architectural Engineering would like to thank all candidates for their interest and engagement.
