Making, Cities, Work is a series of events aimed at contributing to new ways of thinking about the urban economy. On the occasion of the Foundational Economy Colloquium and the closing event of the Cities of Making research project, an exhibition addressed the spatial issues of urban entrepreneurship in the Brussels-Capital Region. An interdisciplinary collaboration between Cities of Making and Building Brussels arose from a shared understanding of the challenges and analogous research approach. The complementarity of the two projects allowed both historical and contemporary perspectives to enrich the layered debate on the challenging nature of economic urban development.
