Get involved in ALL4TADA and help socially vulnerable teenagers!
Are you a VUB graduate who believes everyone deserves equal opportunities? Do you also think that socially vulnerable teenagers deserve a nice year after the difficult corona periods? Then ALL4TADA is something for you!
ALL4TADA is a solidarity action that wants to give teenagers an unforgettable 2022. The organisers hope to collect as much money as possible for more than 1500 socially vulnerable youngsters in Brussels by the end of the year. With that money, the TADA volunteers invest in a weekend school that gives children between ten and fourteen years old the opportunity to discover and develop their interests and competencies on Saturdays throughout the school year. Various volunteers from the field, from lawyers to bakers and professional teachers, present their professions. In this way, the young people get a good idea of what the professions entail and can discover their passions and talents in what they want to do later. The weekend school motivates them, which can be a great boost to their self-confidence. Every bit of support is important because the last two coronas increased inequality more than ever. Therefore, as an inclusive university, the VUB gives the project a boost and asks for help from committed VUB students like you!
Concretely, there are two ways you can help ALL4TADA. First, you can set up a fundraising campaign yourself. Organise a spaghetti evening, a waffle sale, a sports challenge,... the options are endless! Through the GoFundMe online platform, you can create your own page for your initiative and raise money. On TADA's page, you will also find all the tools to spread your action as widely as possible. Also when you have questions or need help, you can contact the volunteers of TADA. They will gladly help you!
Are you too busy, but do you still want to support TADA? That is possible! Through the 'Friends of Tada' fund, you can donate an amount of your choice. From 40 euros onwards, you can even apply for a tax certificate, so that you can get a large part of your donation back. Win-win, in other words! Do not hesitate and participate, because thanks to your support more than 1500 socially vulnerable youngsters get the chance to follow the TADA weekend school and to participate in the TADA For Life alumni network.
