Sunday, 26 November, 2023 - 10:00 until 17:00

Muntpunt, Muntpuntplein 6, 1000 Brussels

On November 26th, 2023, Muntpunt once again opens its doors for Science Day Brussels. Several Brussels institutions, including Vrije Universiteit Brussels, will be present to showcase their research in an accessible manner.

Have you ever wondered how a fluorescent banana can advance medicine? What would it be like if the streets of Brussels could talk? How does it feel to have a baby inside you? Be amazed by the diversity of science through more than 40 activities (including 25 by VUB):

  • The secret behind activist hotspots in Brussels.
  • How classical music and pop can coexist harmoniously.
  • Exploring the world of DNA using mirrors.
  • Light technology making autonomous cars safer.
  • And much more...

Family-Friendly: The festival welcomes everyone, from the young to the elderly. There are plenty of activities for kids, such as creating their own student cards and collecting stickers. By the end of their visit, they can even "graduate"!

Workshops: Perfect for children, teenagers, and young adults. Register early as spaces are limited.

Lectures: Brief and captivating presentations by leading researchers on diverse topics.

Science Market: Browse our stalls, continuously open from 10 am to 5 pm, no registration required!
