Workshop 'Prevention Strategies for Active and Healthy Aging'

This workshop takes place on 24 April 2013 and focuses on primary prevention and on how much effort a society can ask of its citizens to protect them from the diseases of old age. Two international experts will share their thoughts on the biology of aging and on how to boost elderly people before they slide off to frailty. After zooming in on the specific case of Brussels, an open discussion will be held on the role of prevention in the field of healthy aging and quality of life.
