Getting to Know Belgium's Big Neighbour: Private Life Course Patterns of Young Adults in Germany

Thursday, 26 November, 2015 - 14:00
Campus: Brussels Humanities, Sciences & Engineering campus
Faculty: Social Sciences and Solvay Business School
Interface Demography
EPI Lecture

Each year Interface Demography invites a series of nationally and internationally renowned demographers to its European Population Issues course (course information in Dutch). Thanks to this initiative, our Sociology master students have the opportunity to meet and directly interact with some of the leading voices in population studies. But participation in the EPI lecture series is open and free to everyone interested in the discussed topics, students and non-students alike. For the EPI lecture series, experts in epidemiology, migration, fertility, health, etc. will come to VUB to give a presentation, followed by questions and a discussion.

Interface Demography has invited dr. Christine Schnor from KU Leuven to VUB on November 26th. She will talk about the private life course patterns of young German adults.
