Adapting to life and studies in Brussels
Learn what the typical challenges are that international students can face in Brussels and how you can deal with them in a positive way. Find out which VUB services can help you with your studies and with adapting to life in a new country.
Moving to a new country is an exciting adventure. You will meet new people and have many new experiences. But there are also some challenges. You can feel homesick, lonely or feel like you are an outsider in this new culture. It can also be difficult to adapt to the culture of education in Belgium, leaving you with questions and anxieties around your performance or results.
Though studying abroad can be exciting, many international students will experience the downsides of living in a different culture at a certain point in time and you may not know what is going on or where you can find help to deal with these issues. That’s what this info session is for.
