The 19th Party Congress and Its Impact on Chinese Foreign Policy
Rue de la Loi 26, 10th floor, 1000 Brussel
The 19th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party was held in October 2017. It delivered the national strategies of development for the next five years, as well as for the long-term development in the next 30 years. These are the two stage objectives of China's development until 2050. The new leadership has the ambition to guide China to become a modernised strong socialist state with Chinese characteristics. What is the impact of the Party Congress on the future development of Chinese foreign policy? VUB-CI, BACES and ULB work with other partners to organize a debate on 30 November 2017 to find out.
