10.000 students in 37 different countries take part in the yearly CMS International Masterclasses. Join us at VUB and unravel the mysteries of High Energy Particle Physics on March 23d 2019!
After an introduction to Quantum Physics and the Large Hadron Collider at CERN, you’ll analyze data recorded by the CMS experiment. You’ll delve into the Proton’s structure and who knows, you mighty find traces of the elusive Higgs Boson!
During the video conference at the end of the day, you’ll share your findings with students all over the world and CERN researchers.
Want to take part?
The workshop is aimed at students aged 16 – 18 and will take an entire Saturday. Taking part is free. No specific knowledge is required in advance. The same workshop will also take place in Dutch on Wednesday, April 3d.
