The course

  • This course is a continuation of Spanish level 1.

  • We will cover the various aspects of the language. Grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation serve the four language skills: reading, listening, writing and speaking.

  • We will also look at cultural aspects and differences between Spanish speaking countries.

  • At the end of the course, you will have reached the A2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference for languages (CEFR): you will be able to understand sentences and frequently occurring expressions (about e.g. personal details, family, shopping, local geography or work). You will be able to communicate about simple and everyday topics and describe in simple words your own background, your immediate neighbourhood and your own needs.

For whom?

For anyone who already has a basic knowledge of Spanish (level A1).
Enrolment is open to VUB students, staff and external interested parties.
