Who are we?
The Human Physiology research group (MFYS) is part of the faculty LK and performs research on the general theme of “Exercise and the Brain in Health and Disease”. The interaction of exercise and (neuro)chemistry, (neuro)physiology and neuroplasticity is explored in different situations. MFYS explores the limits of fatigue, mechanisms of thermoregulation, nutritional supplementation and its effects on cognitive and physical performance, and the (neuro)physiological aspects of human-robot interaction. MFYS has a long-standing experience in sports science, sports medicine and sports rehabilitation.
