Summer School 2019

W.A.T.E.R.: Workshop on Advanced Techniques and Experimental Research is a Summer School started in 2016 by the Vrije Universiteit Brussel and the IAHR Experimental Methods and Instrumentation Committee (EMI).

The 4th edition will be held in the University of Bologna from June 24 to June 28, 2019.

This Summer School is focused on experimental methods applied in different hydraulics fields. It combines theoretical sessions and hands-on measurement exercises both in the laboratory and in the field. It is aimed at PhD and Master students as well as to technical personnel who are willing to get training in advanced hydraulic measurement techniques.

It offers participants the opportunity to learn by engaging with an array of sessions with educational hands-on experiences taught by experts.

The W.A.T.E.R. Summer School fee is 400 euros.
