Workshop

The Dutch-Belgian DataBase Day (DBDBD) is a yearly one-day workshop on database research, organized in a Belgian or Dutch university. DBDBD 2020 will be organized by Vrije Universiteit Brussel in Belgium and held online.

At DBDBD 2020, junior and senior researchers from the Netherlands and Belgium can present their recent results, and meet senior researchers in the field of data management. It is an excellent opportunity to meet up with your Belgian/Dutch colleagues and to get informed about the (recent) database-related research performed in Belgian/Dutch universities. The workshop welcomes non-Belgian/Dutch participants (presentations are in English).

Presentations will be given in the form of plenary talks. There are no published proceedings; abstracts of presentations will be published on the website.

We invite submissions (1 page abstract) on a broad range of topics related to data management, including systems research, theory, data mining, information retrieval, semantic Web, etc.

DBDBD 2020 is organized by the Software Languages Lab of Vrije Universiteit Brussel. The local organizer is Bas Ketsman.
