Honorary doctor Javier Pérez de Cuéllar dies aged 100

Former UN Secretary General Javier Pérez de Cuéllar has died. He was 100 years old. The Peruvian diplomat led the United Nations for two mandates, from 1981 to 1992. In 1984 he received an honorary doctorate from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
