Whether you're looking for a new job or just want to explore future career options, the Job Market for Young Researchers (ICC Gent, 31 March, 12:00-18:00) is a great place to kick-start your career.

For seasoned postdocs, freshly minted PhDs or PhD candidates about to graduate: get ahead in the application process and thoroughly research the companies and organisations present at the fair. Consider ALL your options – academic as well as non-academic: consultancy (e.g. Schelstraete Delacourt Associates; Avertim; pi Life Sciences Consultancy), the public as well as the private sector (e.g. Stad Gent; UGent; ULB; Infrabel, Janssen Pharmaceutica; Ablynx, Robovision), start-ups (Qustomdot; Genopartner), arts or community services (e.g. FARO), and many more.

Doctoral candidates who would like to have their job fair attendance recognised as a transferable skills seminar (cluster ‘career management’), are expected to combine their visit to the fair with (registered) participation in at least 2 other activities (workshops, CV analysis, speed career coaching).
