MIDDLE EAST DAYS: come and discover the culture of the Middle East during two days at the VUB. 

A range of workshops, a lecture, performances, a film and food options will be available on Tuesday 25 and Wednesday 26 February 2020.

Throughout the two days the VUB restaurant will serve a wide range of Middle Eastern food. The events will all take place in Building D, in different rooms. See below the programme with all the necessary details and locations. Please register to the events (to gauge numbers) below:

TUESDAY 25 FEBRUARY 2020

11:00-13:45 Lunch in the VUB restaurant with a wide array of Middle Eastern food options

12:30-13:00 Showcase the Dabke dance by the Watan Dabke Group - Esplanade 

Dabke is a combination of circle and line dancing and is widely performed at weddings and other celebratory occasions in a number of countries in the Middle East

13:00-14:00 Workshop: Dabke
