Important message concerning COVID-19

We are looking forward to welcoming you next year at the university, be it online or in real life, in spite of the pandemic.

As it is uncertain that travel restrictions and social distancing measures will be lifted by September, the university has decided to organise the enrolment online. You can find all information here.

The Multilingual Master in Linguistics and Literary Studies will also be offering online classes for those of you who are not able to travel to Belgium in time, in order to enable you to join us in Brussels later. Depending on how the situation evolves, these measures could be extended to the second semester as well.

Should you have any questions or doubts, contact us at muma@vub.be.

Project in the spotlight: the recycling cabinet

The first step of ‘acting sustainably’ is to start by using what you already have. Bearing this in mind, the team created the ‘recycling cabinet’. We encourage colleagues and students to swap or donate things that they no longer (can) use. To inspire you, we hereby list some possibilities:

  • books & magazines
  • note pads & writing material
  • small electronics like desk lamps or coffee makers
