Interface Demography
EPI Lecture

Each year Interface Demography invites a series of nationally and internationally renowned demographers to its European Population Issues course (course information in Dutch). Thanks to this initiative, our Sociology master students have the opportunity to meet and directly interact with some of the leading voices in population studies. But participation in the EPI lecture series is open and free to everyone interested in the discussed topics, students and non-students alike. For the EPI lecture series, experts in epidemiology, migration, fertility, health, etc. will come to VUB to give a presentation, followed by questions and a discussion.

For the 29th of October we have invited Prof. Daniel Lichter from Cornell University. He will give a talk on immigration and population change in new Hispanic destinations in the US (1990-2010).
