Redefining Hospital Care

maandag, 6 juni, 2016 - 09:00
Campus: Brussels Health Campus
02-629 22 18

From 2015 to 2018 Crosstalks explores a series of issues related to three core concepts of the Belgian Health Care model: integrated care, access and quality of care. The focus of attention is on the responsibility of and the solidarity between the stakeholders in health and medical care.

Hospitals are increasingly struggling with rising costs and fluctuating quality, despite well-trained physicians and hard work. It is clear that a transformation to value-based system is needed. What effect will this transformation have on financing, primary care, the interplay of compettion and the clustering of services? And what can Belgium learn from other European countries?
