It is with great pleasure that we invite you to the international seminar “Food in Prison. International and multidisciplinary perspectives”, organized by the Research Groups ‘Crime & Society’ (CRiS) and ‘Social and Cultural Food Studies’ (FOST) of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel which will take place in Brussels on 21 and 22 September 2018.
The following keynote speakers will present their findings: Linda Kjaer Minke (Associate Professor, University of Southern Denmark), Amy Smoyer (Assistant Professor, Southern Connecticut State University, US), An-Sofie Vanhouche (PhD, Vrije Universiteit Brussel, Belgium), Helen Sandwell (nutritionist, Food Matters Inside & Out, UK) and Victoria Williams (Director of Food Matters).
