EAST ASIA DAYS: 23-26 April 2019
Building D
different rooms
Experience what East Asia has to offer, with a number of different events taking place across the week starting Tuesday 23 April 2019. East Asia Days will allow you to get to know different cultures through lectures, workshops, food trucks, movies, a photo exhibition, a conference and a closing of the week performance with dancing, singing and traditional folk performances from Sichuan (China).
The East Asia Days are organised by the VUB International Relations office with support from the Korean Cultural Centre, Kobe University, the Mongolian Embassy, the Confucius Institute at VUB, and the Confucius Institute at ULB.
Some events are 'drop-by' so you do not need to register, but others will require registration so we can manage number in rooms, while others will have limited seating capacity and are handled on a 'first come, first served'-basis.
Now is your chance to discover what East Asia has to offer on a cultural level, but there will also be a VUB International Relations office information session on the exchange opportunities for this part of the world. In addition, all info related to exchange opportunties will also be available at the VUB International Relations office welcome desk (pleinlaan 5, ground floor) during the East Asia Days, so feel free to drop by and find out more.
During the East Asia Days week, there will be an India-inspired menu at the VUB restaurant on offer every day, supported by Edukado.
Below is the programme for the week - some rooms and information is still to be added, so check back to see where everything will take place. The events that require registration are hyperlinked so please click the link and register.
