IRMO is launching an extra Global Minds call for “Small Great Projects”.

The Global Minds Programme aims to increase VUB’s capacity in knowledge, scientific approaches and technologies to sustain, improve and expand its collaboration with partners in the South (developing countries). By integrating development issues into education and research, Global Minds strives to foster global citizenship and solidarity in society to better respond to global challenges.

The objective of Small Great Projects (Small budget, Great impact) is to strengthen VUB’s academic capacity to participate in university development cooperation. Project proposals should stimulate an (innovative) development dimension in (one or more of) the three missions of the university (education, research and service), which are aligned with the core values of the university.

A few examples of possible topics are: Sustainable food, migration, sustainable corporation, SDG’s, Climate change, Global warming, renewable energy, sustainable partnerships, sustainable internships, mobilities, entrepreneurship in the Global South, …

The projects may take the form of international congresses, (alumni) events, sensitizing activities, innovative projects, …

This project is supported by VLIR-UOS. This call reaches out to all VUB community members, to propose scientific or educational oriented initiatives.

Only applications for collaboration with partners from VLIR-UOS partner countries are eligible for funding:
