Your place is no matter where on the spectrum

Admittedly, our generation seems to have outgrown heteronormativity, homosexuality no longer surprises us, and gender issues are widely discussed. Yet, this does not alter the fact that some people feel inhibited from being completely themselves. Enter Spectrum: the student association where the door is open to everyone!

Spectrum's main target group is members from the LGBTQ+ community. Since 2018, Spectrum offers their members a safe space and focuses on the well-being of students. During the weekly meetings, the main activity is chatting, because it can be as simple as that! Chatting about day-to-day issues, but also about LGBTQ+ themes where people listen to each other without prejudice. Members can suggest activities to do together with the association. All ideas are welcome and this way, participating in the organisation of the group is very accessible.

Do you think Spectrum is something for you? Joining the association is very easy via Facebook and then come along for an introduction to the other members. At Spectrum, we also take the international students into account by conducting our discussions in English when necessary. Are you already in another club? No problem! Spectrum can be a welcome addition where you end up in a warm community with friends you will make for life.
