Thanks to EU funding three European summer schools on Construction History can be organized. The first summer school was hosted by Cambridge University in 2011. In 2012 the summer school was hosted in Brussels. Prof. Ine Wouters, Inge Bertels and PhD student Quentin Collette from the department of Architectural Engineering at VUB and prof. Bernard Espion, Yves Rammer and PhD student Armande Hellebois, from the department BaTir from ULB were involved in the organization. In 2013 the European Summer School will take place in Munich.
