Prof. Dr Sofie De Kimpe is Professor of Criminology, specialising in police research, diversity and societal security. This is her first term as Vice-Rector for Education and Student Affairs. She is committed to high-quality and inclusive education, student wellbeing and forward-looking student policy. Her expertise in diversity, polarisation and societal challenges closely aligns with VUB’s diverse context.
