THE COURSE
- This is an introduction to the German language, with room for culture and a more playful approach.
- You acquire usable listening and speaking skills, limited writing skills and good reading skills.
- The history and politics of the German speaking countries is also covered.
- We can work on discipline-specific texts at the request of participants.
FOR WHOM?
This course is accessible to participants with a basic previous knowledge (A1 level) and to Dutch speakers without previous knowledge. Due to the great similarities between German and Dutch, Dutch speaking participants will be able, even without previous knowledge, to join this A2 course without difficulty after a brief introduction (which will be a revision for the non Dutch speaking participants).
Enrolment is open to VUB students, staff and external interested parties.
