Since its opening on 14 May 2025, the Learning and Innovation Center (LIC) has provided Brussels with a state-of-the-art learning hub where studying, collaboration, and innovation come together seamlessly. The LIC is more than just a building; it is an intellectual hive that connects students, lecturers, researchers, and external partners from both VUB and ULB.
9,000 m² of Learning, Collaboration and Innovation
- 7 floors, including one floor exclusively for staff.
- Extensive opening hours: open daily from 08:00 to 23:00, almost all year round.
- Science and Engineering Library.
- More than 40 meeting and collaboration rooms, equipped with digital facilities.
- Collaborative learning spaces.
- Learning Theatre: auditorium with a capacity of 80 people.
- Board Room: multifunctional event space for up to 40 people.
- Immersive Room with 360° projection capabilities.
- Recording studio for podcasts and other multimedia productions.
