What’s a wadi?

A wadi is a clever dip in the landscape where rainwater can flow and slowly seep into the soil. It’s good for nature, good for our campus, and good for the future. With this project, VUB takes another big step towards our Green-Blue vision: keeping 100% of rainwater on campus instead of flushing it down the drains.

🌿 We’ll be planting a rich mix of native species that thrive in semi-moist soil conditions.
