In his book Sufficient Gravity before the International Criminal Court (2026), Longobardo examines how the International Criminal Court assesses the gravity of crimes and challenges the view that this criterion primarily serves as a tool for prosecutorial discretion. He argues for an objective, legally grounded interpretation of the criterion.

The presentation will be followed by responses from Anemoon Soete, Leslie Kasongo Tambu and Ezéchiel Amani Cirimwami.
