Music for life is organized and coordinated by the Flemish radio station ‘Studio Brussel’ and the Flemish Red Cross, but the money collections are done by everyone. Either you participate in the activities of others, or you organise your own event. Not only can you pick the way and the amount of money you raise, but also the organisation that can benefit from your action.

VUB for Life

The VUB community proudly participates in this tradition. Not only can you try to win a price in the raffle, but it’s also possible to run in the Warmathon, to watch a movie during the warmest cinema organized by the teaching department IDLO, to buy a book from the VUB’s archive CAVA or hot chocolate in Jette, and to participate in the warmest neighbourhood party in Jette or the 24 hours of the Student Information HUB.

All these student and employee initiatives are collected and highlighted under the umbrella VUB for Life. There are already a few activities on the agenda, but there is always room for more. Are you organizing something? Check out the tips and tricks and make the VUB aware of your event by emailing to vubforlife@vub.be

The VUB’s house of glass

VUB Students that want to collect money for charity are invited to organise an event on Monday 18 December in the VUB’s own house of glass: building D. For once, the building will stay open not only during the day but during the night as well to accommodate student initiatives and the 24 hours of the Info Hub.

The activities in the hallway are available to everyone at every moment of the day. If you want to participate in one of the many VIP activities in the Student Hub, you will have to register in advance.

Cuddling with chickens, a guided cultural tour of the VUB campus or becoming the new VUB typing champion? Almost everything is possible during the 24 hours of the Info Hub. Have a look at the programme, register for your favourite activities and help your friends, colleagues and Student Information Team collect money for charity.
