The AI for the Common Good Institute, a joint initiative by VUB and ULB, has been nominated for the visit.brussels Awards 2026 in the category Brussels Best Smart Experience.
The nomination focuses on the CAVE (Computer Augmented Virtual Environment): an immersive simulation and digital twin infrastructure developed by FARI in collaboration with the Brussels-Capital Region. This cutting-edge environment supports researchers, public authorities and urban stakeholders in decision-making and illustrates FARI’s mission to harness AI and science for the common good.
