The Usquare.brussels project is in the running for the Brussels Architecture Prize. This initiative transforms historic heritage into an open, sustainable and forward-looking university district, serving both society and the environment. The joint ULB-VUB project demonstrates how collaboration can lead to innovative urban development that respects heritage while promoting sustainability and inclusivity.
The project with the most votes will win the People’s Choice Award of the Brussels Architecture Prize. The People’s Choice Award, along with the winners of the four categories and the honourable mentions, will be announced on 9 December 2025.
