Dr. Uus Knops and dr. Sarah Dury join us to talk about grief in public places. Dr. Uus Knops will talk about ‘Onumenten’ and dr. Sarah Dury about places of solace.
Dr. Uus Knops is a psychiatrist, psychotherapist and author, and works at Ghent University. In 2018, she wrote the book ‘Casper’ in which she describes the search for her missing brother and the grieving process that accompanies it.
Dr. Sarah Dury is Professor Adult Educational Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. She is the co-director of the Society and Ageing Research Lab and coordinator of the Compassionate Communities Expertise Center at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
