From Monday, June 29 to Friday, July 3, 2020, CY Cergy Paris University is organising and hostinging the first Eutopia Week. Taking into account the health measures linked to COVID-19 the event offers a fully digital week.
IN THE PROGRAM:
- Opening and closing ceremonies, broadcast on #EUTOPIAweekCY social networks<
- Virtual cultural tours
- Presentations of the sites, laboratories, diplomas, actions, student associations of CY Cergy Paris University in a short video format (about 5 minutes)
- Facebook live lives daily at noon
- Photography and pitch competition
- Conferences of researchers around the theme of sustainable campuses and digital inclusion. (SUSTAINABLE CAMPUSES and DIGITAL INCLUSION)
- Work meetings of the teams in charge of the development axes of the EUTOPIA 2050 project
GOALS:
- Bring together all the key players in the project
- Celebrate the Alliance
- Strengthen identity and common culture
- Include students and staff in this event
- Present the progress of the planned actions of the project
- Present the academic, cultural and socio-economic environment of CY Cergy Paris University
- Communicate at the local and regional level by associating representatives to ceremonies and round tables
- Communicate between the other alliances.

The EUTOPIA Weeks are six weeks organised in turn by the members of the European Alliance until December 2022. CY Cergy Paris University inaugurates this series of events by highlighting international cooperation and the adaptability of the Alliance to a global context. Through collaborative research, greater student and teacher mobility and shared innovations, among others, EUTOPIA seeks to address local and global challenges, ultimately contributing to creating a new model for higher education in Europe. In June 2019, EUTOPIA was chosen as one of the 17 winning projects throughout Europe in the new ìEuropean Universities Initiativeî competitive call, launched by the European Commission to build a European Education Area.
