Looking for a lecture hall, classroom or another location on the VUB Health Campus in Jette? MazeMap can now show you the way. The digital navigation tool, already available on the Main Campus in Etterbeek, has now been rolled out in Jette too. Simply open it in your browser – no app or login required.
With multiple buildings, floors and entrances, finding the right place on campus is not always straightforward. This can be particularly challenging for new students, visitors or staff who are less familiar with their surroundings. MazeMap lets you search for buildings, rooms and facilities and instantly shows you the best route to your destination. So you can get exactly where you need to be.
Now available in Jette too
MazeMap was introduced on the VUB Main Campus in Etterbeek earlier this year. Following an initial public testing phase and further improvements, the navigation tool has now been extended to the Health Campus in Jette.
This is another step towards making our campuses easier to navigate and more accessible to everyone. MazeMap also provides adapted routes for people with reduced mobility, taking into account features such as lifts and accessible entrances.
Straight from your timetable to your classroom
MazeMap is also linked to TimeEdit, the scheduling tool students and teaching staff use to check their timetables. From your timetable, you can click straight through to MazeMap to see the route to your classroom. Handy when you have a class in a particular building for the first time, or when you need to get quickly from one place on campus to another.
No app, no login
There is nothing to install and no account to create. Simply open MazeMap in your browser and select your campus. Outdoors, you can follow your location on the map. Once inside, MazeMap gives you clear directions through the building. This makes it easier to find classrooms, lecture halls, toilets and other facilities.
