VUB Graduation Ceremonies 2025 – Save the Date

From 6 to 8 October 2025, the City of Brussels, in close collaboration with VUB and ULB, will host the graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2025. The ceremonies will take place on the iconic Grand Place and inside the Brussels Town Hall – a truly exceptional setting for a once-in-a-lifetime moment.

Over the course of these three days, graduates will be honoured in the presence of their families, friends, and loved ones. The highlight? The traditional moment on the Town Hall balcony, where over 2,200 graduates will be symbolically addressed and applauded.

Invitations and practical details

Official invitations will be sent out after the results of the first exam session are announced. Only students who have passed all their courses – including the Master's thesis – at that point will receive a personal invitation with a registration link. Students who graduate after the second session will receive their invitation later in the summer.
