Play sports in virtual reality at VUB? Yes, you can!
During the day, the VR Sports zone at the VUB sports complex on the VUB Main Campus in Etterbeek is used mainly for academic purposes and research in the field.
The room and the VR material are at our disposal in the afternoon and during after-school hours. Fun guaranteed! We would like to share this with our students, colleagues, alumni and VUB sympathisers.
We are starting with some basic exercises, using the Facebook Oculus 2 glasses and accessories, but who knows, soon you might come up against a virtual Federer or Messi? How amazing is that? Or maybe you have a physical disability and Virtual Sports would allow you to discover a new experience? The future is now!
