After graduation

What are the career prospects for graduates of this programme?

RADMEP+ graduates enter a specialist field with significant global demand. The joint diploma from six European universities, combined with hands-on research experience and studies in three countries, makes them strong candidates for roles in the space and aerospace sector, nuclear energy, semiconductor R&D, medical physics, and beam instrumentation, as well as at major research infrastructures such as CERN.

Many graduates continue to a PhD: the programme's research-led teaching and a master's thesis, whether in industry or at a research centre, provide a strong foundation. The mobility experience and Erasmus Mundus label are well recognised by European and international employers alike.

What have you learnt?

Graduates leave with advanced knowledge of microelectronics, photonics and radiation effects, able to assess vulnerability and improve radiation hardness. They run R&D projects independently, analyse data with modern processing and AI methods and solve unfamiliar problems. Just as importantly, they communicate technical ideas clearly, work across disciplines and cultures and weigh the social, economic and ethical impact of their work and become adaptable professionals ready for international careers.
