The course

  • This course is for anyone who would like to learn Italian. It is a beginner’s course which requires no prior knowledge of Italian.

  • The focus is on communication during daily activities. This covers speaking, listening, writing and reading. 

  • The aim of the course is to reach the A1 level (In the Common European Framework of Reference, or CEFR). Students who have successfully completed this course can start with General Italian Level 2 (second semester), with the goal of raising their knowledge of Italian to the A2 level.

     

For whom?

Anyone who wants to follow a basic course in Italian. Prior knowledge is not needed.

Enrolment is open to VUB students, staff and external interested parties.

This is a basic course. No prior knowledge of Italian is needed.

Please note that places are limited. Registration will be closed once the number is reached. This can happen before the end of the registration period.

Certificate

Participants who have completed the course successfully will receive a certificate from ACTO stating the level, the number of hours and the final result.
