Development of a science-based practical guide to euthanasia for doctors
The practice guide is based on the support needs of patients, their relatives and healthcare professionals (including doctors). The guideline pays attention to dealing with a request for euthanasia, the preparation and execution of euthanasia and the care after execution or refusal of euthanasia.
The VUB-UGent research group End of Life Care carries out pioneering scientific research in palliative and end-of-life care.
