Are you a VUB student who likes to eat pasta? Do you have the heart in the right place? Would you like to help children and young people from the most vulnerable neighbourhoods of Brussels? Then take part in Brussels Helps!
From 21 to 24 November, we will serve your favourite pasta dishes at lunch every day. On campus Etterbeek, you will have a daily choice between a meat/fish pasta and a veggie/vegan pasta. At campus Jette, you have a daily choice between a spaghetti Bolognaise or veggie Bolognaise. For this special occasion, we are asking an extra euro on top of the normal price, which we will fully donate to Brussels Helps.
Brussels Helps is Bruzz's annual solidarity action. Every year, a different Brussels charity is selected to support. This year, the proceeds of the action go to Street nurses vzw. It was founded with the aim of eliminating homelessness. The non-profit organisation developed a methodology centred on hygiene and health to build relationships with the most vulnerable, homeless people. Later, housing also became an important aspect of the medical-social organisation's work.
