As your Alma Mater we want to stay in contact with our alumni and hear your stories.

Our alumni relations office keep you up to date with what is happening at the VUB and the activities we organise for our alumni. You can stay in contact with former classmates and other VUB people thereby expanding your personal and professional networks.

As an alumnus you can also help out as a volunteer, ambassador or donor to help reach the University's strategic projects and potential for its future students.

Our alumni are our most important ambassadors.

VUB Alumni - A unique network with an international reach

With its portfolio of English courses, the VUB has been a pioneer in Belgium in internationalisation.

With a history of 184 years and almost 50 years of academic teaching and research as an independent university, we have exceeded the milestone of 10,000 international alumni.

With a total of 70,000 - national and international - alumni, it is fair to say that we are doing ok at covering the globe, from East to West and North to South!

We will update this page on a regular basis with the most interesting news for our international alumni and keep you informed of any visits our VUB ambassadors (rector, vice rector, professors, ...) have planned to your region.
