Brussels Maritime Talks: Labour at Sea

Although the maritime industry spans the globe and impacts us all, the issues of human rights at sea are rarely discussed, even less so on a platform which brings together the industry’s different stakeholders.

The Brussels Maritime Talks: Human Rights Perspectives at Sea aim to remedy this. At these events the BDA and Téthys Naval bring together practitioners, operators and advisors from the maritime industry for an interdisciplinary exchange on a specific area of human rights.

On 4 November the topic will be Labour at Sea.

The event will take place on the VUB campus from 9.00-17.00.

Participants will have the opportunity to hear from the following experts from leading organisations, and to engage in discussions relevant to both policy formation and daily life at sea.
