The exposition emerged from a deep reflection on the sense of insecurity experienced and perceived by undocumented people in public space, where simply being present often becomes an act of survival. Through photographs, videos, and texts by activists and allies, the exhibition is structured around four themes: spaces of insecurity, spaces of (sur)vival, movements and transitions, and sites of struggle.

While the works testify to precarity and constant surveillance, they above all highlight the dignity and collective strength of the movement. Beyond administrative invisibility, the exhibition reveals the strategies of solidarity and resistance developed by VSP to defend rights and reclaim safety.

This exhibition is part of the project “We are not dangerous, we are in danger”, led by La Voix des Sans-Papiers Bruxelles (VSP) in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (CRiS and BIRMM), with the support of the Collectif Formation Société (CFS). The exhibition is supported by Kanal–Centre Pompidou and CFS, and is part of the annual symposium EXIL.S & CRÉATION.S
