On bare foot ...
As from september 2025 : NEW at the VUB, Center for Martial Arts and Science (CEMAS) of 800m². Half of this facility is equiped with mats and the other half for boxing. Federations, clubs and individuals will be well served with this +/-3.5milj € investment of the VUB anno 2025-2026! So bigger and better for all martial arts adepts.

A little trivia for combat sports clubs, federations and fanatics
At the VUB you are not only welcome to rent our state of the art martial arts halls of join one of our activities, but we als want to provide a service to federations, clubs and other organisations who would like to have som scientific support. Physical, Mental, Nutrition, Social, Management and organization ... CEMAS is created to help you to grow as a martial arts organization and take a next step into professionalizing your activities. Rent the martial arts hall (dojo)
For individual rentals of the "dojo" by the hour, at least one of the users must have a valid sports card. You can request individual rentals a maximum of 3 times. For user agreements (if you rent the dojo via a contract for a longer periode) a sports card is not required.
For the boxing facilities, you either join one of the clubs active there, join activities with you sportcard with punch in organisation of VUB Sports, or come during the "open gym" hours and train individually (simular to the swimming pool : you have to book via the VUB Sport app, pay per visit either by purchasing a single ticket at the front desk or via your sports card topped up with 10 or 20 boxing sessions, and then work-out in respect of the internal rules (and follow the guidelines of our coach present in the boxinghall).

*In order to benefit from a discounted rate, at least half of the players must be VUB or EHB students or staff. Reduced rates for VUB or EHB students are charged from Monday to Thursday between 8 and 22h and on Friday until 17h. In the weekend, starting on Fridays at 17h and ending on Sunday at 21h) the normal rate is applied for all. With the "last minute exception" as a rule : on the day itself VUB students can rent the remaining available facilities at Student Peak rate.
