
After graduation
The course comprises 10 different modules. Organised as theoretical teaching sessions in group, one-to-one coaching, practical teaching sessions in the skills lab, involvement in the daily clinical activities of the department and individual mentorship for a comprehensive written research report. Besides the basic and specialisation modules, you can determine specific learning goals within the field of this postgraduate course. The course is organised throughout the academic year. Individual adjustments to the programme may be considered based on your specific profile.
What have you learnt?
You will develop skills in organising a department of plastic surgery, multidisciplinary consultation, intervention planning and preparation, plus practical skills with different surgical techniques and decision trees for treatment choice in these domains. An additional scientific component teaches the critical evaluation of scientific literature, together with the writing and publishing of a scientific article.
