Without cooperation, we are not getting anywhere. That was already true before the Stone Age. And it is even more true in our current, high-tech and globalised society. That is why the VUB puts so much emphasis on partnerships. With other universities. With local and European authorities. With organisations. With the city. Because the challenges are too big for one person, one entity. How do we tackle climate change? The poverty in deprived neighbourhoods? How do we make our businesses more sustainable, keep our cities livable, our energy affordable for all? It is a matter of everyone with everyone else.
