Fill the shelves of the Science Shop with your knowledge!

Bringing together students, researchers and non-profit organisations to achieve a sustainable cooperation, based on scientific research in the interests of society. That’s the biggest challenge of the Science Shop. And it desperately needs you!

Science what now?

The Science Shop is a VUB project that offers support to non-profit organisations via scientific research, carried out by VUBers as part of a (group) project or thesis. Via the Science Shop, non-profits can “shop” for the knowledge of researchers and experts. But it also works the other way: if you’re working on a socially relevant project, you’re more than welcome to turn to the Science Shop for support.

Science win-win!

As a student, you’ll work with the organisation to answer their research question. You don’t do it alone, of course, but under the supervision of an experienced researcher. The Science Shop brings you, the organisation and the promotor together, and acts as a mediator.

The result is a win-win: scientifically substantiated and useful research for the organisation and relevant research experience for you! You’ll also get to know the field and build a strong, invaluable network.

The Science Shop needs you!
